Co-education

Co-education
For:
1.    It helps each sex to know and accept the viewpoints of others. This helps in their later life when both sexes have to live alongside each other in the society. So, the experience of the opposite sex right from school is beneficial.
2.    Studying together helps in full development of personality.
3.    People learn from each other. Females learn braveness from boys and males learn carefulness from girls.
4.    Co-education is economically more viable. Instructing the two sexes separately would mean doubling the infrastructure.
Against: Arguments against co-education are weak in today’s time of sexual equality.
1.    Some say that a person is inhibited in front of the opposite sex. So, his full potential is not developed.
2.    They also feel that it is against our tradition
3.    The future roles of men and women are different. So they can be taught according to that.
